Our team, TrimLAB, proudly congratulates Mr. Puridech Bubphamanee on the successful completion of his Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University, .
Throughout his graduate studies, Puridech demonstrated strong dedication to research and academic excellence. He presented his research at the 47th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBC 2025) in Copenhagen, Denmark, showcasing his work on an international stage.
As part of his academic development, he also completed a three-month research exchange in the United Kingdom, working with Dr. Geoff Wells at the UCL School of Pharmacy, University College London, and Dr. Sarah Harris at the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, University of Sheffield. This valuable international experience strengthened his research skills and fostered collaborative partnerships with leading researchers.
In addition to his international achievements, Puridech has also made a valuable contribution to scientific research through his publication in the Journal of Health Science and Medical Research (JHSMR). His first-author article, "Development of an Antibody Targeting Variants of the SARS-CoV-2 Spike Protein," presents an in silico approach to engineering a single-chain antibody fragment with enhanced binding affinity against multiple SARS-CoV-2 variants. The study demonstrates his expertise in computational biomedical engineering, molecular modeling, and antibody design, reflecting the high quality of research conducted within our Biomedical Engineering Program.
We are incredibly proud of Puridech's achievements and the dedication he has shown throughout his journey. We wish him continued success in his future career and every happiness in the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.
Congratulations, Puridech! We look forward to seeing your future accomplishments.
Teaching is more than a profession, it is an opportunity to inspire, learn, and build meaningful international connections.
We are delighted to share that Dr. Krit Charupanit had the opportunity to deliver lectures at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad, Serbia, as part of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Programme from 14–21 June 2026. This mobility was conducted through the collaborative partnership between the University of Novi Sad, Serbia, and Prince of Songkla University, Thailand.
During the visit, Dr. Charupanit engaged in academic discussions and knowledge exchange focused on medical education, neuroscience, academic career development, research collaboration, and future institutional partnerships. The programme provided valuable opportunities to discuss current research trends, explore collaborative projects in neuroscience and health technology, and strengthen the foundation for long-term cooperation between the two universities. Interactions with faculty members and students were especially rewarding, fostering mutual learning and the exchange of diverse perspectives.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Prof. Dr. Barak Otto, host professor from the Department of Physiology, for his warm hospitality, guidance, and insightful discussions throughout the visit.
One of the most memorable experiences was a visit to the Milan Petrović School for Special Education, where Dr. Charupanit gained valuable insight into the educational needs and challenges faced by students with disabilities. Witnessing the dedication of the teachers and staff to providing inclusive education was both inspiring and informative.
Overall, this academic mobility successfully strengthened international academic networks, promoted the exchange of knowledge and best practices, and provided valuable perspectives on education, research, and cultural diversity. We gratefully acknowledge the University of Novi Sad for hosting this mobility, Prince of Songkla University for supporting Dr. Charupanit's participation, and the Erasmus+ Programme for making this valuable opportunity possible. We also extend our sincere thanks to all faculty members, staff, students, and administrative personnel whose support contributed to the success of this visit.
We look forward to continuing and expanding the collaboration between our institutions in the years to come.
As the summer training program comes to a close, we would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to Fareeda Sani, Chawanlak Onrak, and Panyaphon Sriya from the Department of Physical Science, Faculty of Science, Prince of Songkla University.
Over the past two months, they have been valuable members of our research team at TrimLAB: Translational Research and Innovative Medicine Laboratory, Department of Biomedical Sciences and Biomedical Engineering. During their internship, they actively participated in research activities under the joint supervision of Dr. Krit Charupanit and Dr. Praopim Limsakul, gaining hands-on experience in scientific research and laboratory practices.
Throughout their time with us, they demonstrated enthusiasm, dedication, and a strong willingness to learn. We are proud of the progress they have made and the skills they have developed during this training period. It has been a pleasure working with Fareeda, Chawanlak, and Panyaphon. We hope that this experience will serve as a valuable foundation for their future academic and professional endeavors.
On behalf of everyone at TrimLAB, we wish them continued success, happiness, and fulfillment in all their future pursuits. We look forward to seeing the remarkable achievements that lie ahead for each of them.
Congratulations, and thank you for being part of the TrimLAB family!
