At TrimLAB, our mission is to pioneer innovations that improve and save lives. While this is often achieved through dedicated research and technological advancement, we believe our responsibility extends beyond the laboratory and into the heart of our community.
Our members as team came together for a meaningful cause, group blood donation. For many, it was a routine donation, while for others, it was their first time in years. This event was more than just a social responsibility activity; it was a reflection of our team's collaborative spirit and shared values. It strengthens our bond and reinforces the human element.
TrimLAB would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff at the blood bank, Songklanagarind Hospital, for their professionalism and care. We also want to encourage the wider community to consider donating blood. The need is constant, and your contribution is invaluable.
We look forward to continuing our engagement with the community and finding more ways to contribute, both inside and outside the laboratory.

Two promising young researchers from our TrimLAB, at Prince of Songkla University, successfully presented their work at the prestigious 47th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBC 2025). The conference, a premier event for biomedical engineers and researchers, was held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from July 14-17, 2025 with estimated attendance of 2000 participants from around the globe!!!
This achievement highlights our commitment to the mission of advancing research by integrating computational methods with laboratory experiments to address pressing healthcare challenges.
---------------------------Pioneering Research in Dementia and Virology-----------------------------------------------
The two students, Thawirasm Jungrungrueang, and Puridech Bubphamanee, a Master's student, presented their research on two of the most critical areas of modern medicine
🧠 Dr. Thawirasm Jungrungrueang (M.D.), a Ph.D. candidate, presented her work titled, "Characterization and Diagnosis of Dementia Spectrum Disorders Using EEG Connectome Dynamics with Deep Learning." This research emphasizes the use of advanced EEG signal processing and deep learning to better understand and diagnose dementia, a growing global health concern. His work aligns with TrimLAB's focus on biomedical signal processing and its application in diagnosing neurodegenerative diseases.
🦠 Puridech Bubphamanee, a Master's student, presented his research on the "Computational Design of Broadly Neutralizing scFv Antibodies Targeting the SARS-CoV-2." This study is at the forefront of virology and immunology, employing computational techniques to design antibodies that can combat a wide range of SARS-CoV-2 variants. This research develops the framework in using molecular dynamics and bioinformatics to accelerate drug development and protein engineering.
The opportunity not only allowed them to share their findings with the international scientific community but also to engage with other renowned innovators/researchers and contribute to the future of healthcare. TrimLAB is immensely proud of our team accomplishments and their contribution to the society of a healthier future for all. Cheers!!!!
We’re excited to announce the opening of our base at the OPEN HOUSE BMS x BME 2025 event!
